Shazma has been a strong force in Alberta’s hotel industry and has helped to steer the success of her family business from two hotels to seven over her tenure. She has been driven with a passion to become a leader in selected emerging markets in central Alberta and currently operates Holiday Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Staybridge Suites properties in Red Deer, Hinton, and Edson, Alberta. As President of one of Alberta’s premier hotel management companies, Shazma also runs two restaurants including the award-winning, Boulevard Restaurant & Lounge in Red Deer, Alberta.
Born and raised in Red Deer, you can see Shazma’s dedication to the city and province with her flagship property, Holiday Inn & Suites Red Deer South, which received developer of the year award in 2009 and 2011 for the Holiday Inn Brand.
